Description: Pasta, is an Italian only thing right? Wrong. Of course other countries by no have found out ways on how to engrave pasta into their own culture. Poland’s common dish is pasta with curd cheese or farmer cheese. It is actually a very common ingredient in many Polish dishes including pierogies, polish crepes, and also pasta. It is a mixture of cheese that separates into a lot of curds. This type of cheese has a thicker texture and is solid, dry, and crumbly. Poland being a nation with a lot of lands to farm on has an abundance of cows to an abundance of dairy products which this certain cheese certainly is. This dish of pasta and sweet cheese can be eaten as a lunch, dinner, or side dish and wouldn’t be uncommon to stumble into in an average Polish home.

Ingredients:

1 cup of farmers cheese

½ cup of sugar

½ cup of sour cream 1, 12oz box of any kind of pasta

Directions:

  1. Boil pasta how you would normally boil any kind of pasta.

  2. Drain pasta and but in a large bowl.

  3. Mix in farmers cheese, sour cream, and sugar.

  4. Mix well and then serve.
