Description: Polish sausages are probably one of the most stereotypical dishes in Poland. They can be eaten fresh or smoked. They are used in breakfast dishes, lunch or dinner. They originate as early as 500 B.C. near the Baltic Sea where sausages were considered a valuable trade item. There are multiple ways to cook them but one of the most common is frying them with onions for a savory juicy flavor.

Ingredients:

3 one foot Polish smoked sausages

1 chopped onion

olive oil

Mustard Bread

Directions:

1.Cut sausages into slices without cutting the slice all the way through.

2.Chop onion into small pieces.

3.Put olive oil to cover bottom of medium frying pan.

4.Cook sausage and onion on medium heat until sausage and onion turn crispy.

5. Serve with mustard and bread.
