Traditional Polish Cooking

Hi my name is Gloria Stach and I live in Michigan with my brother Gabe, my sister Maryann, and my two parents who happen to be immigrants from Poland. I go to the International Academy and for my MYP project I chose to learn the art of Polish Cooking.

 

This is an independent project that is supposed to help wrap up the middle years program in order to prepare for the IB. It is a project where you can choose any topic to explore of your choosing and present it.

 

This personal project relates to the Global Context “Identities and Relationships” as it allows for me to explore my own identity and relationship with the culture that I am from. My parents came from Poland and Polish cooking would allow me to explore my origin. Learning Polish cooking would also allow for me to develop a life-lasting important skill.

 

Through this project I have found out more about myself then I could ever imagine like my passion in cooking and learning how important food is for keeping a family relationship. I hope that you enjoy these amazing recipes!
